Arise Recovery Centers is an outpatient provider — but recovery isn’t one-size-fits-all. When someone needs a higher level of care than outpatient can offer, we don’t turn them away. We assess the situation, match the person to the right inpatient or residential rehab facility through our vetted statewide network, and help coordinate admission — then welcome them back for outpatient step-down care when they’re ready. One call starts a free, confidential assessment.

When inpatient or residential rehab is the right level of care
Inpatient and residential programs provide 24/7 supervised, live-in treatment. They’re typically the right fit when someone:
- Needs medically supervised stabilization or is coming out of detox
- Has a severe or long-standing substance use disorder
- Has relapsed after outpatient treatment
- Has a co-occurring mental health condition that needs round-the-clock support
- Doesn’t have a safe, stable, substance-free home environment
If you’re not sure which level of care fits, that’s exactly what our assessment is for — there’s no cost and no obligation.
How placement works with Arise
- Free assessment. We talk through the situation, history, and immediate safety — by phone or in person.
- Match. We identify the facilities in our network that fit the clinical needs, location, and insurance.
- Coordinate admission. We help with the logistics so there’s no scrambling at the worst possible moment.
- Step-down care. When residential treatment is complete, Arise continues the work through our outpatient programs.
Levels of care, explained
- Detox — short-term medically supervised withdrawal management.
- Inpatient rehab — 24/7 hospital-level treatment for acute needs.
- Residential rehab / residential treatment — live-in, structured, longer-term care in a non-hospital setting.
- Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) — day treatment, several hours most days, returning home at night.
- Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) — structured therapy several days a week around work or school.
- Sober living — substance-free transitional housing.
Most people move down this ladder over time — and Arise provides the outpatient rungs (PHP, IOP, individual and group counseling, and Medication Management) directly.
A statewide network
Arise serves communities across Texas — Dallas, Fort Worth, McKinney, Southlake, Arlington, Sugar Land, the Houston area, and Austin — and our placement network reaches inpatient and residential facilities well beyond our own outpatient locations. Wherever you are in Texas, we can help you find the right bed.
After inpatient: continuing care with Arise
Finishing residential treatment is a milestone, not a finish line. Arise picks up the continuum with Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), individual and group counseling, and Medication Management — plus help arranging sober living if a substance-free transitional home would help.
Insurance & cost
The assessment is free. Most major insurance plans cover inpatient and residential treatment, and we’ll verify benefits before anything moves forward — so you know what’s covered before you commit.
