Noah Flores received his Bachelors and Masters in Social Work at the University of Texas Steve Hicks School of Social Work. Noah is licensed as an LMSW with 4+ years of experience working in a variety of settings including a psychiatric hospital, domestic violence shelter, multiple rehabs, and private practice.
Noah values a pragmatic approach to group therapy. His goal is to help people become more authentic as they rediscover who they are in recovery. In line with this, he views group therapy as a place for clients to relate to each other in ways they didn’t know were possible. Noah specializes in Attachment theory and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Noah uses Attachment theory to help people understand their authentic selves and to develop better relationships with their support systems. Noah couples the self-awareness piece from attachment with DBT as the actionable piece where clients learn skills to help them broaden their perspective and to think in ways that support their recovery.
