Lauren is a Licensed Master Social Worker. She received a BA in Psychology from the University of North Texas, and a Master of Social Work from Texas Woman’s University.
Lauren joins Arise with 6 years of experience working with individuals navigating addiction, homelessness, and mental health crises at residential and inpatient psychiatric facilities. These experiences helped her develop a deep passion for partnering with clients as they grow and find healing.
Lauren’s therapeutic approach is trauma informed and strengths based as she believes that every individual deserves safety and is fully capable of meaningful and long-lasting recovery. Lauren believes that there is power in community and is committed to facilitating a collaborative environment where clients can develop applicable skills and navigate hard emotions with each other. At her core, Lauren believes that addiction is the result of many factors and finds joy in helping individuals find the pathway to recovery that fits for them.
In her free time, you can find Lauren talking about music, spending time outdoors, or rewatching one of her favorite rom coms.
