Meet Dr. Gary Malone

Dr. Malone is Board Certified in General and Addiction Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is also Board Certified in Psychoanalysis. He is an Adjunct Associate Professor at UT Southwestern and a Senior Teaching Analyst in the Dallas Psychoanalytic Institute. He’s been named one of the “Best Doctors in Texas” (top 5%) 14 years in a row by Texas Monthly and is in their Hall of Fame. His passion is treating patients, with the hope of offering relief of suffering and giving people the opportunity to live fuller, more satisfying lives. He has been married for forty years with two adult daughters. A college swimmer at SMU, he enjoys swimming, basketball and outdoor activities and even swam from Alcatraz to San Francisco last year!
