Meet Rachel Goodwin
Clinical Director South Texas, LPC, LCDC
Rachel Goodwin is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) with over 10 years of experience working with those with substance abuse and process addictions, co-occurring mood disorders, and trauma. Rachel brings the unique perspective of having experience with the full continuum of substance abuse care – residential treatment programs, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient settings. Rachel has extensive training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy which is an interactive psychotherapy technique used to relieve psychological stress. Rachel holds a Bachelor’s of Science from Mary Hardin-Baylor University and a Master’s in Professional Counseling from Amberton University.
Rachel started her career as a therapist performing individual, family, and group therapy to patients at Santé Center for Healing in Argyle, TX. From there she joined the ARC Team as the Lead Therapist in Southlake. For the past couple of years, Rachel worked as a Therapist and Treatment Coordinator for SunCloud Health in Chicago, IL, specializing in the treatment of complex patients with trauma, addictions, and/or co-occurring mood disorders.
Rachel is thrilled to be back with the ARC Team serving as Clinical Director for our South Texas region!
