Meet Tiffany Dumont

Tiffany Dumont is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor Intern (LCDC-I) who graduated from the University of Texas Arlington. Tiffany specialized in the treatment of mental health and substance use disorders with a focus in opioid use disorders. In her last semester at UTA, Tiffany was accepted into a program funded by HRSA to receive specialized training to treat opioid use disorders and completed her final internship at the Center for Addiction and Recovery Studies (CARS).
Tiffany has found a passion in working with clients who are struggling with substance use and other co-occurring mental health disorders while taking a trauma informed approach. As a counselor, Tiffany utilizes techniques borrowing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). She believes there are many pathways to recovery and that recovery is unique to each individual. Tiffany takes a holistic approach to the treatment of substance use disorders and believes in meeting the client where the client is at.
