Meet Lisa Hubbard

Lisa is Arise Recovery Center’s PM therapist at the Fort Worth location. She has clinical experience in addition to a wealth of life experience. Her personal story is a testament to” we do recover!” Lisa knows and understands the struggles related to addiction from personal experience. She has a bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling with a minor in Addictions from the University of North Texas. Lisa is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Addiction Counseling through Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. She expects to graduate in May of 2025. Upon graduation she will be a Licensed Profession Counselor-Associate (LPC-A). Lisa is also a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT/ASAT) through the International Institute for Trauma & Addiction Professionals (IITAP).

Lisa believes in a holistic approach to treatment and meeting the client where they are in their recovery journey. Then helping the client gain the knowledge, tools, & skill set they will need to improve their overall quality of life for the long term. Lisa has been a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor since December 2018 and working in the recovery field since 2016. She has a great deal of experience in medication assisted treatment, outpatient treatment, & residential.

Lisa’s also has a background in the transportation industry as a Class A CDL holder. Her years of experience as an OTR & local truck driver, in addition to her LCDC training give her an insider’s perspective on issues relating to substance use disorder treatment and the Department of Transportation. Especially in matters involving the Federal Motor Carrier’s guidelines.
