Meet Douglas Cross

Douglas Cross is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) with over 15 years of experience working with individuals suffering with substance use and co-occurring disorders. Douglas holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Science) and Master of Psychology (Science) in Addictions degrees from Purdue Global University (formally Kaplan University). Douglas is also an Air Force Veteran. He has worked in a wide range of treatment settings – from the Texas Department of Corrections, residential treatment, partial-hospitalization programs, and intensive outpatient services. He has worked extensively as an LCDC assisting men and women address substance use disorders. He has a wealth of experience facilitating numerous therapeutic techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, relapse prevention and motivational interviewing. Douglas understands the challenges of maintaining sobriety and is in his twentieth year of sustained sobriety.

Douglas has been happily married for 17 years and lives by the motto “Failure is not an option.”
