About Michelle

Therapist, LMSW, LCDC

Michelle Roberson is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC). Michelle graduated from The University of Texas at Arlington with a Master’s Degree in Social Work. Michelle has experience in both outpatient and higher-acuity inpatient treatment settings and her training includes focus areas of Learned Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).

Michelle chose her career due to her own families history of addiction and is very passionate about helping those who struggle with anxiety, depression, and anger associated with addiction. Michelle joined Arise Recovery Centers in March 2019 to continue helping individuals and their families better understand addiction through the development of best-practice treatment plans and education to prevent relapse.
