Jennifer is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker that has worked in the field of addiction since 2007. She began her career in a residential treatment center servicing chemical dependency and co-occurring disorders working with clients and their families. During that time she developed and implemented experientially based trauma services and an eating disorder track using a variety of treatment modalities addressing anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma and intimacy disorders and co-dependency. She facilitated family programming for the loved ones of addicts where they learn to set and keep boundaries, recognized their self-defeating behaviors, deal with the loss of their loved one to addiction, and begin to live a life that isn’t consumed with the addict. She has also served as a Clinical Director of treatment facilities, supervising therapists and interns as well as program evaluation and development. She is EMDR trained, a certified sexual addiction therapist and provides coaching and case management for families before, during and post treatment.
Jennifer specializes in helping people move through major life transitions. Specifically surrounding loved ones of addicts and the grief that comes with it. Guiding individuals in overcoming obstacles having experienced loss such as death, divorce, trauma, addiction or any other circumstance that alter life in a profound way. She has found that transformation takes place when people can embrace their experiences and take the steps necessary to continue to live and find a purpose for their circumstances. A person has to believe that they are worth more and deserve more than their experiences.
Jennifer is passionate about helping others live authentically, follow their dreams, realize their worth and experience joy and fulfillment again. Shedding limiting beliefs to gain a sense of freedom. She is here to help people create the life they want and deserve. Life events and challenges are only pieces of a person’s story. Anyone can overcome, rise above, and live with purpose.
